He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elsie M. Hubbard-Whitfield; his son Darnell Whitfield; his stepsons, Michael Hubbard and Darren Hubbard (Amy); his grandchild Darnell Whitfield, Jr.; his stepsons, Lauren Bailey Hubbard and Miles Jeffrey Hubbard; his siblings, Chantel Whitfield, Lorenzo Whitfield (late Elizabeth) and Alvah Whitfield (Viola); his sister-in-law Frances Dixon (late Clevester); his parents, Willie Roscoe and Senora Elizabeth Whitfield; and his cousins, Thomas and Gracie Vines. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and special friends.
