She is survived by: her children, Larry Garlington of Springfield, MA, Ernest Garlington of Suffield, CT and Castella Murphy (Keith) of Upper Marlboro, MD; her nephew John "Dougi" Ward of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Kia Silva (Michael) of Snellville, GA, Julian Garlington of Waterbury, CT, Dotteanna Garlington Moore (Clayborne) of San Diego, CA and Derek Garlington of Los Angeles, CA; and her sister-in-law Odene Ward of Kennesaw, GA.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
