He is survived by: his wife Bettye Smith; his children, Danielle Smith-Eason (Carl Eason, Jr.) and Jeremiah Smith, Jr.; his granddaughters, Marquita Davis, Carly Eason and Paris Smith; his siblings, Debbie Bailey, Rosemary Wade and Johnny of Washington; and his nephew Shawn Bailey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
