He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Sye and Alice Criss Sye; his siblings, Charles W. Sye and Iris Campbell; his wife Linda Grace Sye; his stepchildren, Ronda Franklin and Daryl Patterson; his grandchildren, Christina, Catherine (Katie) and Claire Franklin; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Sye, Dominique Sye, Kimberly James, Darryl Sye and Westley Sye.
