She is survived by: her friend Barnie Kilbride; and her siblings, Nancy Palmedo of Chesapeake, VA, Patricia "Patty" Hawes Jones of Melbourne, FL, John Hawes (late Joanne Cart) of Manassas, VA and Robert "Bobby" Hawes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family.
