He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Opie Gaiter; his wife Jane Fowler McKinley; his daughters, Jennifer Smart (Scott) and Heather Vereen; his grandsons, Zachary and Cayden; his daughters, Marla Collins and Michelle Alexander; and his sister Betty Butler. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
