With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter T. May Sr. of Union Bridge, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harry May and Malinda Leannah May (Reaver); his wife Anna Mae Carbaugh; and his children, Walter Thomas May Jr. and Rose Marie May.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Blizzard (Dave) of Fayetteville, PA, Goldie Claggett (Charles) of Spring Grove, PA, Malinda Nissley (Mike) of Middleburg, PA and William May of Hanover, PA; and his brothers, John May (Virginia) and Charles May (Joyce). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor on Sunday, March 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p. m. Wearing of masks and social distancing will be observed.
