It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Anne Ayers (Union Bridge, Maryland), born in Cresaptown, Maryland, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Francis and Nellie Kammauf; her sisters, Doris Linaberg and Mary Elizabeth Lacey; and her great grandchildren, Christopher III and Theodore Ayers.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Bradley Ayers Sr. (Angela); her grandson Christopher Ayers Jr. (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey; her grandchildren, Kelsea Lowe (Christopher Michael) and Nina Gardenhour; and her great grandchild Luke (Jonathan).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriners Children's and Frederick Health Hospice in Shirley's name.
