She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Buffington and Hazel V. Haines Buffington; her husband Harold E. Thomas Sr.; her son Harold E. Thomas Jr.; and her sister Ethel Stambaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Brock of Tippecanoe, IN, Nancy Carr (Kenny) of Union Bridge and Clarence "Jake" J. Thomas (Joanne) of Keymar; her siblings, Doris Hallford, John Buffington of Westminster and Elmer Buffington of Lake Mary, FL; and her daughter-in-law Sally Thomas of Sykesville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
