He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Carlton Boone and Myrtle Mae Miller Boone; his wife Dorothy V. Boone; and his siblings, Donald, Charles, Henry, Rainey, Jack, Larry, Jeannette Whitmore, Helen Brewer, Betty Jane Boone, Pauline Neil, Rosalie Fritz, Robert, James, Lavinia and Audry Boone.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Ellen Smith of Union Bridge; his daughters, Debbie Gist (Keith) of Westminster, Cindy Trout (Terry) of Sedalia, KY and Mary; his grandchildren, Ryan, Melanie Gist of Westminster, Tara, Chris Mobley of Hanover, PA, Tyler, Carly Trout of Steilacoom, WA, Caitlyn of Kentucky, Courtney of Kentucky, Carleigh of Kentucky, Josiah of Kentucky, Jesse of Kentucky and Johnannah Trout of Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Brett VanLaer, Nicole, Natalie Mobley, Jackson, Sadie, Josie and Tessa Trout; his niece Lisa; his great-niece Debbie Crawford; his sister Peggy Fritz of New Windsor; his siblings-in-law, Betty Boone, Margaret Boone and Elmer Black (Mary); and also, Melvin Smith and Jesse King.
The family will receive friends at the Activities Building from 8:30 a. m. until service time at 11:00 a. m. Masks are mandatory for the time of visitation as well as for the service.
