We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2025, at the age of 91, Richard L. Garber of Union Bridge, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Z. Garber and Dorothy L. Devilbiss Garber; and his siblings, Maurice, Ralph, Elizabeth, Joan, Gary, Carolyn and Fay.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Garber; his daughters, Brenda Joyce Wetzel of Union Bridge, Debra Lynn Hoffman, Thomas of Hughesville and Terri Lee Stambaugh (Jeff) of New Windsor; his grandchildren, Eric Wetzel (Lisa), Bradley Stambaugh, Thomas Hoffman (Becky), Brandon Stambaugh (Kayla), Alison Harris (Jason) and Corey Wetzel; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Colby, Adison, Casen, Alie and Trace; and his siblings, Edward and Delores.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home-Union Bridge (6 E Broadway St, Union Bridge, MD 21791). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
