We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Lillian Layman (Union Bridge, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oscar and Iva Elizabeth Topper Orndorff; and her sisters, Mary Wivell and Helen Fry. She is survived by: her husband Richard H. Layman; her children, Richard A. Layman (Christine) of Manchester, PA, Lori Himes (Todd) of Walkersville and Ronald F. Layman (Sharon) of Union Bridge; and her daughter-in-law Lisa D. Layman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 24 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:45 p.m. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
