He is survived by: his children, Valtrina Gloyd of Taneytown and Larry L. Butler Jr. of Union Bridge; his grandchildren, Timothy Butler and Anissa Gloyd; his sister Patricia Smith of Frederick; his niece Rae Smith; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alonza and Trey Lyles; his nephew Myron Smith; and his close friends, Percy Jones and Bonnie Fritz.
