He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Mackley Sr. and Margaret Fleischman Mackley; his wife Annabelle Heffner Mackley; his daughter Brenda Lee Carbaugh (Robert "Bob" Carbaugh); and his son-in-law David "Gus" Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa A. Wilson of Westminster; and his grandchildren, John R. Wilson (Amy), Jennifer Wagner (Dustin) and Janice Weishaar (John). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
