It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D. Mercer of Union Bridge, Maryland, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Mercer and Eugenie Perrin Mercer; his uncle John Mercer; and his aunt Liwayway Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Patty Ann Mercer; his children, Christopher Joel Mercer of Harrisburg, PA, Kara Nicole Waller (Tom) of Golden, CO, James Phillip Mercer of Union Bridge and Jessie Marie Baker (Robert) of Hughesville, MD; his grandchildren, Trinity, Ryder, Liam, Avery and Kelsey; and his siblings, Janice Miller of Rhode Island, Sharon Bondroff of Hagerstown and James Mercer of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
