He was predeceased by: his parent Harry E. Sr.; his sons, Harry E. III and Barry Lewis Buffington; and his brother Charles Buffington. He is survived by: his parent Bessie Marie Martin Buffington; his spouse Betty Louise Eyler Buffington; his daughters, Betty Funkhouser (Glenn) of Union Bridge, Mel of Union Bridge, Taneytown of Union Bridge and Cheryl Maring (Ron) of Union Bridge; his grandchildren, Bryne Taff, Holly Hess (Mikel), Joshua Funkhouser (Amber) and Casey Funkhouser; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Makayla, Juliana, Brantley and Lilly.
