He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Parrish and Mary L. Repp Parrish; his siblings, Albert Parrish, Louise Poemroy, Isabelle Farver and Guy Parrish; and his grandsons, Michael Snyder and Scott Sorensen.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dean Parrish; his children, Pamela Dean Sorensen (Paul) of Ocean Pines, Stephen Patrick Parrish of Taneytown and Patricia Jean Snyder (Alan) of Littlestown, PA; his grandchildren, Michelle Snyder (Bernard Johnson) of New Oxford, PA and Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Michaela, Clifford, Malia and Christian.
