With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Ann French of Tuscarora, Maryland, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Payne Sr. and Iva Costello Payne; and her siblings, Helen Dotson, Arthur Payne, Forrest Payne Jr., William Payne Sr., Catherine Breeden and Rebecca Lamm.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph French of Tuscarora, MD.; her sons, Stratton French (Cathy) of Point and Keith French of Hancock, MD; her grandchildren, Stephanie and Stephen French; and her sisters, Esther Tranby, Mary Francis Jack and Nancy Payne.
