He was predeceased by: his father Reverend Thomas J. Turkington; his former wife Dolores Shortall; his siblings, Tom Jr., Bill, Harry Turkington, Emma Shehan and Jean Turkington; his son Terry A. Turkington; and his stepson Pat Mullikin.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Turkington (Ginny); his sons, Robert P., Jr. (Donna) of Nathalie and Timothy J. Turkington of Bethlehem; his stepchildren, Kathy Gannon (Gary) of Easton, Mike Mullikin (Cheryl) of Onstead, MI and Matt Mullikin (Cathy) of Wetumpka, AL; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Turkington of Denton and Carolyn Walker of Easton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
