We bid farewell to Quentin M. Wilson (Trappe, Maryland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Quentin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Maurice Wilson and Ophelia Alice Banks Wilson; and his siblings, Alice Camper, Vivian Roberts, Mable Green, Norman Wilson, Edward Wilson, Wilbert Wilson and Francis Wilson.
He is survived by: his nephew Eddie; his nieces, Eunice, Lisa, Shelia and Marchelle; his wife Bertha C. Brown of Easton, MD; his goddaughter Pamela Clay (Robert) of McDaniel, MD; his siblings, Tamsey Miller of Trappe, MD and Herbert Wilson of Trappe, MD; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Wilson of Trappe, MD and Florence Wilson of Cordova, MD. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scotts Um Church (3748 Main St, Trappe, MD 21673). A masonic service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
He had the distinction of being awarded the Umoja Award from the Kwanzaa Foundation for his spirit of unity, commitment, cooperation, and service rendered for the betterment of our children.
