He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Loretta Dixon; his children, Beth Gunsallus (Frank) of Trappe, James H. Shortall, Jr. of Arlington, VA and Edward Joseph Shortall of Trappe; his granddaughter Patricia R. Shortall; his nephew Tony Shortall; his friends, Leroy Miller and Steve Lindsey; his stepchildren, Bob Banning (Melissa) and Michelle Robinson (Jay); his stepgrandchildren, Logan Shubert (Cody), Jordan Banning and Cassidy Robinson; and his stepgreat-grandson Beckham Gray Shubert. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
