She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Orem Slaughter and Ernestine Webb Slaughter; and her brother James Slaughter. She is survived by: her sisters, Ida S. Hickman and Elizabeth Slaughter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
