He is survived by: his children, Debbie S. Gibson (Barton) of Dunkirk, Janice L. Kent (Ricky) of Huntingtown, Tammy L. Hurley (Greg) of Owings, Linda M. Soper of Ocean City and John A. Soper, Jr. (Tracy) of Greensboro, MD.; and his brother Charles Soper. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
