He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Williams; his children, Lindsey June Williams and Owen Thomas Williams (Amanda); his granddaughters, June and Mary Williams; his sister Marjorie Vandenberg; his sister-in-law Joan McKay (Dave); his goddaughter Maggie McKay; his parents, Patricia Williams (Murdock) and Thomas O. Williams; and his grandparents, Marjorie (Cahne) and Abraham L. Bienstock. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
