He was loved and cherished by many people including: his nieces and nephews, David Beachler (Annette), Diane Topper (Don), Elizabeth Rogers and Bill Hick (Anne); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kelly Topper, James Topper, Amanda Beachler, Lauren Beachler, Rebecca Asher, Jeremy Hicks-Kachik (Kali Hinkle), Josh Hicks-Kachik, Neil Hick, Evan Hicks and Lucy; his sibling-in-law Lynn Wallace Beachler (late Ruth-Ann); and his friend Jul Strain (Chris).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church Outreach Committee, 5407 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210.

He was a true professional in every sense of the word and a National leader in the field of Traffic Engineering. His outstanding work made the roads of Maryland and other states so much safer. It would be impossible to list all of his awards and accomplishments on this web site - the server would overload and crash. I had the privilege of knowing and serving under him for over 20 years.
