He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Mandel and Madeline George; his sister Lynn Mally (Bob); his nephew Ray; and his grandmother Edith Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Mandel; his children, Melissa Wies (Richard), Jessica Mandel (Carnell Pearson) and Ricky Mandel (Jenn); his grandchildren, Damian of Madison, C. J, Alex, Nora and Hartwin; his great grandchild Myla; his siblings, Yvonne Maddox and Donald Mandel; and his nieces and nephews, Calvin (Mary), Chrissy of Bobby, D. J. and Steve.
