She was predeceased by: her brothers, Manuel De Asis, Patricio De Asis and Mario De Asis. She is survived by: her husband Rafael M. Nicolas; her children, Nichelle Nicolas (Nikki) and Rosalyn Ellis (Michael Ellis); her grandson Nicolas Blake Rogers; her pet Nellie Custis Ellis; her siblings, Ariston De Asis, Virginia Lorico and Regina Santos; and her grandson Nicolas Blake.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make a donation in Norma's name to the American Diabetes Association.
