He was predeceased by: his parents, Kaliope "Betty" Fangikis and John "Jerry" Vatenos. He is survived by: his significant other Norma Pappas; his children, John (Laura), Renee and Peter (Monika); his grandchildren, Hannah, Alexandra, Madison, Michael, Eva and Corinne; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joe, Andrew and Alvin.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral (24 W Preston St, Baltimore, MD 21201).
