He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Hargrave; his children, Lindsay Hargrave and John Hargrave (Janice); and his grandchildren, Noelle, Richard, Augustus, Lily, Dylan and Ashley Hargrave.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Church of the Good Shepherd.
