She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Covas and Isabel Covas (Serrano); her husband Don Swain (Sydney); her sons, David Swain and Gary Swain; and her siblings, Haydee Covas Seward and Vincent Covas.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Swain Marcelain (Thomas) of Newark, OH; her daughter-in-law Jeanette Swain of Virginia; her grandchildren, Sydney Gast (Adam), Daniel Marcelain, Grant Marcelain, Elizabeth Richardson (Brett), Steven Swain and Matthew Swain; and her siblings, Catin Oliver of Ponce and Michael Covas (Anita) of Ponce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
