With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Runk (Towson, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Runk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Johns and Alvina Johns. She is survived by: her husband Carl Runk; her children, Carl (Marilyn), Keith (Merribeth), Curt (Jean) and Brenda Parker (Tom); and her siblings, Mary Lou Kelso (Charles) and Thomas A. Johns Jr. (June). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations to the Carl Runk Lacrosse Scholarship at Towson University, as they would be deeply appreciated.
