He was predeceased by: his son Michael Allen Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Garrett; his children, Deborah Garrett (Allison), Kendra Richardson (Adam), Douglas Garrett (Debbie) and Keith Garrett; his godchildren, Alex Slack and Meredith Johnson (Jay); and his siblings, Barbara Presgraves and William Garrett (Rita).
