It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Sandy Diehl Jr. of Towson, Maryland, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helenie C. Diehl and Mary Ann F. Diehl; his sister Elizabeth D. Albert (Hollis); and his wife Mary Ann. He is survived by: his children, Sandy (Cathy) of Mantoloking, NJ and Penny Durham (Dave) of Gaithersburg, MD.; his grandchildren, Lindsay Diehl Wilson (Joe), Andrew Diehl (Chelsea), Katie Durham Sullivan (Devin), Peter Durham, Emily Durham Reif (Zach), Connor Doherty and Geoffrey Diehl; his great grandchildren, James, Henry Wilson, Harper Diehl, Avery and Charlotte Sullivan; his stepchildren, Cheryl Faryon (Thomas), Craig Ferree, Caroline Ferree (Kim), Jennifer Ferree (Dan) and Liz Ferree (Dan); his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Lamont (Erica), Lindsay Blake (Lee) and Patrick Foster (Taylor); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ada, Elvie Lamont and Wells Blake.
