With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaetano Platania (Towson, Maryland), who passed away on January 29, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Platania; his son Alexander E. Platania; and his sister Catherine Giliberto. He is survived by: his children, Bondanzia M. Summers (Michael) and Joseph F. Platania; his granddaughter Alyssa Marie Dunkle (Troy); and his siblings, Rosina Groesser, Francesco Platania and Giuseppe Platania.
