He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Palmisano Melocik (Nip); his parents, Henry Melocik and Teresa Melocik (Heine); and his siblings, Calvin Kathleen, Henry, Calvert and Carmella.

He is survived by: his daughter Donna Palermo (Guido) of Lexington County, SC; his grandsons, Christopher, Anthony Palermo of Lexington County, SC and Vinnie Palermo of Harford County, MD; his sister-in-law Joanne McClayton of Lutherville, MD; his brother Joe Palmisano (Kathleen); his cousin Robert Melocik of Baltimore, MD; his grandson Vince Palermo; and his brother-in-law Joseph Palmisano, MD (Kathy). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
