She was predeceased by: her husband William John Vanko. She is survived by: her children, William D. Vanko (Joan Doniger), Sharon M. Vanko (Ken Lamb) and Andrea "Andi" Vanko (Dan McMahon); her grandsons, Joseph W. Devlin (Diana Jo), Timothy J. Devlin (Molly Harman) and William J. "Jake" Vanko; and her sisters, Barbara Crimy and Mary Rita Willinghan. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to BARCS, The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Center (http://www.barcs.org).
