She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund Lee Mitzel, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Edmund Mitzel Jr. (Monica Mitzel) and Christopher Mitzel (Lori Mitzel); and her grandchildren, Matthew Christopher Mitzel, Caroline Elizabeth Mitzel, Stephanie Grace Mitzel, Madelyn Kidder Mitzel and Caden Christian Mitzel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (105 Church Ln, Cockeysville, MD 21030).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Dorothy's memory to Catholic Charities or Wounded Warrior Project.
