We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2020, at the age of 99, Doris E. Thornton (Towson, Maryland), born in Glen Arm, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Billingsley and Emma Billingsley; her husband James Thornton; and her siblings, Mary L. Holtgreve and Raymond Billingsley Jr..
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Polly Thornton; her nieces, Mary L. Wegl and Amy Hoffman; and her nephew David Thornton.
Due to the COVID 19 epidemic, her funeral service will be private to be followed by a memorial service sometime after COVID 19 restrictions are lifted.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Doris' name to the Alzheimer's Association of America.
