She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scholl and Ruth Scholl; and her sisters, Bridget Beck and Anne Hicks. She is survived by: her friend Matt; her children, Daniel Nowak, Joseph Nowak and Ann Louise Breitenbach (Steve); her grandchildren, Michelle Nowak Phillips (Tim), Karen Nowak Brehm (Charles), David Nowak (Brigid), April Nowak (Brad), Marian Breitenbach and Patrick Breitenbach; her great grandchild Ilex Landers Nowak; her nieces, Teresa and Jeanne; and her nephew Michael.
She loved her church family and taught Scripture classes up until COVID-19 closures.
Denny entered the Sisterhood, Daughters of Charity at the young age of 17.
