She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary V. K. Brenner and Robert Asbury Brenner; and her brother Curtis. She is survived by: her husband James Wellons Brinkley; her children, Robert (Patricia Knauer Brinkley) of Hypoluxo, Doug (Ellen Thompson Brinkley) and Susan Brinkley of Towson; and her grandchildren, Jack, Annie and Sophie.
