She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Jones and Thelma Jones; her husband Brian Shannon; her son Andy Hanes (Heidi Hutchison); her daughter-in-law Heidi; and her grandchildren, Olivia Giggey and Gabriel Hanes.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
