He was predeceased by: his spouse Dana Tilman Elliott; his parents, Richard Louis and Mabel Moylan Elliott; and his brother Richard Louis Elliott, Jr. (late Patricia). He is survived by: his children, Daniel Ward Elliott (Jeanne Elizabeth Stahl), Charles Moylan Elliott, Jr. (Amy Barnes Elliott) and Cara Elliott Shipley (Terrance St); his grandchildren, Verity Alexander Elliott, Charles Moylan Elliott, III, Jacob Daniel Elliott, Eliza Allyn Elliott, Kaley Elliott Shipley, Garrett Kirkwood Shipley and Anne Elizabeth Shipley; and his cousins, Charles E. Moylan, Jr. (Marcia) and Daniel E. Moylan (Mary).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory at the Humane Society and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
