She is survived by: her children, Cindy Johnson, Todd Slacum, Clyde Slacum and Susan Slacum Williams (Scott); her grandchildren, William Slacum, Carey Buxton (Jamie), Hannah Johnson (Tommy), Sasha Sachdev (Sean), Parker Amos (Ashley) and Phillip Slacum; her sister Jane Getzendanner; and her sister-in-law Lois Slacum.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Catherine's memory to St. Jude.
