It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Santo Derus (Towson, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Santo and Alma Santo; her husband David James Derus; and her siblings, Ronald Santo and Claire Romine.

She is survived by: her child Dorée Celeste Hudson; and her granddaughter Mariana S. Hudson. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Carole's name to any of the following charities: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
