She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. William E. Polk, Jr.; her daughter Marcia Meyer (David); and her brother Roger Blegen (Dolores). She is survived by: her children, Laura Siegel (Brian), William Timothy Polk (Marianne) and Catrina Diem (Robert); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Will), Bethany (Mark), Jesse, Ryan, Ashley, Zachary and Timothy; her great grandchildren, Riley, Lawson, Abigail and Fletcher; and her friends, Larry and Lynn Dickens. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Grace United Methodist Church, The Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO), or Pickersgill Retirement Community.
