He is survived by: his children, Wayne Gegorek, Richard Gegorek (Cheryl), Craig Gegorek (Susan), Susan Shughrue (Paul) and Lisa Redmond (David); his grandchildren, Stephanie Pita (Borseth), Meaghan Hefner (Brendan), Carly Terrier (John), Melissa Tama (Justin) and Jacob Shughrue; and his great grandchild Declan Terrier.
