She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nannie Mae and C. Burch Athey; her husband George J. Ross III; her children, George Ross (Sally) and Sally Harrison (Michael) of Butler; her grandchildren, Johnson Ross, Tyler Ross (Heather), Lindsay Mitchell (Andrew), Harrison Lockhart (Kate) and Ross Lockhart; and her sisters, Jane Athey Churchill of Hilton Head and Ann Athey Barroll of Chestertown, Maryland.. She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
