He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleanor L. Kohler; his sons, Michael L. Kohler (Jan) and Stephen A. Kohler (Diane); his grandchildren, Matthew Kohler (Heather), Angela George (Charles), Kristin Bailey (Brendan) and Emily Upedegraff (Justin); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Kennedy, Eleanor, Aaron and Owen; and his sisters, Margherita Griffith and Mary Hall.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that charitable donations be made in Mr. Kohler's name to the Oak Crest Benevolent Care Fund, 8820 Walther Boulevard Parkville, MD 21234.
