Virgil Washington Earp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Washington Earp of Thurmont, Maryland, born in Olney, Maryland, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Earp and Stella May Earp (Clark); his sister Alice Peomroy (Johnny); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Shankle and Alvin Fogle.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda L. Earp (Fogle); his daughters, Stella Earp-Pennington (Curtis), Dianna Fisher (Kirk) and Brenda Dodson (Todd); his grandchildren, Michael Pennington, Christina Snyder (Joshua), Brian Pennington, Julia Fisher, Sarah Fisher, Grace Fisher, Faith Fisher, Isabella Fisher, Isaac Dodson and Samuel Dodson; his siblings, Jimmy Earp, Butch Earp (LuAnn), Mary Ann Shankle, Viola "Vi" Williams (Drew), Ruth Earp and Barbara Flohr (Merle); his mother-in-law Catherine Louise Fogle-Barry; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Fogle, James Fogle (Sue) and Austin Fogle (Janet). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
