It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sterling Seiss of Thurmont, Maryland, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis J. Seiss and Ora May Seiss (Saylor); his wife Mary Jean Harbaugh Seiss; his great grandchild Dylan; and his siblings, Mary Thompson, Ruth Lidie, Alverta Stottlemyer, Zelma Smith, Delores Orndorff, Catherine Long, Robert, Raymond, Francis, Fred and Quentin.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas S. Seiss (Christine Jenkins) of Rocky Ridge, Carolyn J. Wivell (Michael) of Emmitsburg, Kenneth E. Seiss of Thurmont and Phyllis A. Krietz (Robert) of Thurmont; his grandchildren, Richard, Jarrod, Rhonda, Douglas, Matthew, Kenneth Jr., Dena, Danielle, Jessika, Jennifer and Mary; and his brother Floyd Seiss. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
COVID-19 precautions will be in effect for the service.
